About Us

The Wyoming Homeless Collaborative (WHC) is a not-for-profit 501c3 and serves as the Wyoming Continuum of Care (CoC).  The existence of a CoC is a requirement of the federal department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the acquisition of HUD grant funding.

The WHC encourages and supports the coordination of housing and services at local, regional, and state levels and further supports a statewide plan to meet the specific needs of people experiencing homelessness.

  • The WHC is a statewide planning body that coordinates HUD housing and services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness.

  • The WHC encourages and supports the coordination of housing and services on a local and regional level for people who are homeless as they move to stable housing and maximize self-sufficiency.

  • The WHC membership consists of service providers, state government officials, members of the faith-based community, employees of the Veterans’ Administration, and other individuals providing services to the homeless.

The WHC strives to be an inclusive body that recognizes client-centered approaches to resolving homelessness.  We welcome service providers, community members, unaccompanied youth, and those with lived experience to join in our efforts.  If you would like to become a member, join us in strategic planning or offer your own experience, we encourage you to reach out to us on the Contact Us tab.
