THE WYOMING HOMELESS COLLABORATIVE/STATE CONTINUUM OF CARE
The Wyoming Homeless Collaborative (WHC) serves as the Wyoming Continuum of Care (CoC).
The WHC is a statewide planning body that coordinates HUD housing and services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
The WHC encourages and supports the coordination of housing and services on a local and regional level for people who are homeless as they move to stable housing and maximize self-sufficiency.
The WHC membership consists of service providers, state government officials, members of the faith-based community, employees of the Veterans’ Administration, and other individuals providing services to the homeless.
The existence of a CoC is a requirement of the federal department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the acquisition of HUD grant funding
